REFI TV: Trepp/Case Distressed Borrower Roundtable

The Trepp/Case Distressed Borrower Roundtable recorded in 2015 in New York, aims to take a deep dive into the issues affecting troubled commercial real estate borrowers. In the first segment, panelists focused on how improving management of a property often means better performance.

JLL's property management group handles this situation frequently. "We often see borrowers winding up in positions where their properties have lower rental rates. We work with them to try and maximize revenue, minimize expenses and look at long-term planning," said JLL's Linda Aronson.

The panel, moderated by Samantha Rowan, includes Joe McBride from Trepp, LLC, Shlomo Chopp of Case Property Services, Kevin Donohue of C-III Capital Partners, Linda Aronson of JLL and Ira Zlotowitz of Eastern Union Funding.
